Want to move away with someone this summer? w4w
This may be a little crazy and far fetched, but Im throwing the idea out there to see if it resonates with anyone.
Im looking to move back to Rochester, NY in 1-2 months. I will be bringing my 8 year old daughter and one cat. In my ideal world I would find a moving companion to be an amazing roommate, to not just split the cost of rent but also embark on and share this journey. Ideally, you would also be a mother (maybe father) of a of similar age as my daughter has no solid friends in NY.
Whats unique and awesome about this for you is that I have lived in Rochester for 6 years already, so I know the city, I know whats good, whats bad, where to live, where to shop, where to play, etc. If you may otherwise be a little nervous to move somewhere new on your own, I can be like your own personal tour guide!

Ideally a parent (but otherwise open to living with a And sorry but I do prefer older than toddler for a good combination of us all)
Happy to live with a cat (If you have your own, even better! Mines been lonely since her friend passed away. Dogs may be considered depending on temperament)
Eager to escape the heat and humidity
Eager to enjoy all four seasons
Capable of handling snow (Rochester sees a lot, not a lot at once, but for a good period of time)
Open minded, respectful, and accepting of others (this attitude does you better up north and makes you a more pleasant roommate :)
At least mostly clean (I get were all human, I just ask for maintenance)
Not seeking to hang out with your roommate all the time always, though hanging out and talking is still awesome (Im an introvert at my core)
No cigarette smoking indoors, no use around my
Limited guests (so like, respect to ask before any big gatherings at our place)
Ideally enjoys Halloween, as I throw amazing Halloween parties every year :)
Although if we really hit it off together and youre up for going somewhere other than Rochester with a moving partner Im open to consideration as well. Northeast and Northwest both interest me too!
