It's just part of being in a relationship. I cannot deal with secrets. I do know at least two couples (off the top of my head) where the guy (in particular) thinks nothing of making his own plans (these are married couples living together) and executing them without ever telling their wives. I've even seen one such couple LEAVE the house without telling his wife AT ALL! That type of stuff does not fly with me. I feel like if you're part of a respectful relationship, it is just common courtesy to let the person you are supposed to care most about in the world know where you are going and that you are leaving, etc I also agree that her reaction to your questioning was a HUGE red. IF she's not cheating on you, then she has some attitude explanations to be making to you and owes you an apology and an explanation. If she can't understand that her reaction to your legitimate questions seemed suspicious to you, then she's got some serious workings to do on her end. If it were me, I'd tell her that you definitely need a break and not to bother ing or visiting until she wants to be more honest and openminded with you regarding your last conversation. I know that if I said or did something that made my boyfriend suspicious (though I feel hurt that he thought I would even consider cheating on him), I would want to assure him that he could trust me and would be more than willing to explain away any questions he have for me regarding a specific situation. I don't keep things from him. We know most everything about our pasts and he knows of my interest in women. He is confident enough to let me do what I need to do without participating, but then I tell him EVERYTHING even if I am just considering having sex with another woman. He knows about her, where she's from, if we're gonna meet, etc
