What is a good relationship
I can't really even tell you why I'm here. There are plenty of reasons to be happy and thankful for what I have. There are also so many things I don't have. I have the comfort of a nice home, someone to meet me half way with the bills, a partner to share my day with ( sometimes ). I just don't think what I have is a real relationship! It seems to be way to one sided. I am always alone, and when we are together we are almost always in separate rooms. I spend all my free time catering to her every whim. I get up ear;y on my days off to make her breakfast so I can send her local older woman ready friendship free online dating chat off to work with a good start for the day, I do the dishes, laundry, yard work, and what ever needs done during the day and manage to have a wonderful dinner waiting for her when she gets home. It's never enough! I either don't have it ready in time or something is over cooked or under cooked. I bring her dinner on a plate and whatever she wants to drink, she sets it aside and goes straight for the snacks! She says she loves me but never makes any attempt to prove it. It would be nice to be treated in the same way I treat her. When I look back on it all now, it seems like I have a room mate more than a girlfriend!! I don't want to live alone, but I really don't want the type of life I'm living right now either. I often wonder what I'm doing wrong and how I can fix it. I even considered seeing a doctor to see if maybe its just me. I really think I'm a descent person, but I'm always thinking all this is my fault. I so badly want to fix this relationship but I'm afraid there is little more I can do. I feel like I'm on the tall diving board and have a line of people telling me to jump, but I know if I do jump there is no turning back. I guess maybe I'm just a wimp or something because I can't seem to move forward at this point. Thank you for listening.
